Hey, I’m Anya! A 17-year-old singer songwriter from Hampshire, in the South of England.

I've always been drawn to the energy of the 2000s—its fashion, music, and pop icons stir up a kind of nostalgia that inspires everything I create. I started piano and singing lessons from the age of 3 so since from a young age, I knew I wanted to make art that moves people, especially music that makes you want to dance and scream the lyrics like no one’s watching.

Creativity has always been in my DNA. Whether it’s singing, acting, or writing, I’ve found a voice in each of them—but songwriting is where everything comes together. I started composing classical and film-style music in 2021, when I was 13, teaching myself piano by ear since I couldn’t read sheet music. That  helped me understand musical storytelling. By 2023, I began shifting towards songwriting adding lyrics as if its poetry.

At first, I felt a bit lost genre-wise—coming from a family outside the music industry, I had to figure it out on my own. 

One day at the piano, I stumbled on a melody that wouldn’t leave me. I kept looping it, humming a hook—“One more chance… gimme gimme gimme gimme one more chance…”—and suddenly, a story started to take shape. That song became a twist on the usual pop narrative: instead of being about escaping a stalker, it told the story from the perspective of someone obsessed with their crush. It was raw, weird, a little dark—and I loved it.

From late 2023 to September 2024, I wrote my first album, which for now lives quietly in the vault. I wrote every lyric, built every melody, and handled everything from chord progressions to mixing and mastering my debut single, One More Chance. I love every part of the process, and this is just the beginning.
